Ally Kido, Softball Hitting Instructor

Ally Kido is a 2018 graduate of Amherst College. She currently works as Post Bachelors Research Assistant in a disease ecology lab within the Amherst College Biology department.

During her time at Amherst, Ally was a four-year member of the softball team and a captain her senior year. Primarily an outfielder, Ally also covered third for the Mammoths during her first year. At the plate, Ally blasted 10 home runs during her career including a grand slam her first year. She ended her career with a .319 batting average.

After graduating with honors in 2018, she worked for a season as an assistant softball coach on the Amherst College softball team where she focused on developing skills with the outfielders. Ally has been doing hitting lessons at the Aegis Batting Cages since 2018. In her free time, Ally enjoys hiking the local trails and visiting all the ice cream shops in the Pioneer Valley.
