Lisa Sanderson
(MS, PT, Director of Aegis Chiropractic and Physical Therapy)
Lisa Sanderson MS, PT is a skilled and compassionate practitioner with well over three decades of experience in outpatient physical therapy. Lisa graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Science, with honors, from the University of Massachusetts in Amherst. Lisa was also a starting pitcher for the Nationally Ranked UMass women’s softball team. Lisa is a two time All American and member of the New Jersey and Union High School Hall of Fame. Lisa graduated with honors from Columbia University’s College of Physicians and Surgeons with a Master of Science Degree in Physical Therapy.
Lisa has owned and directed Aegis Physical Therapy since its inception. She has been instrumental in the growth and success of Aegis by creating a community-oriented facility that provides the best physical therapy care in the Pioneer Valley. Lisa has helped thousands of patients recover from injuries and is committed to providing the best care possible for all her patients. Lisa is a professional member of the American Physical Therapy Association, American College of Sports Medicine and The National Strength and Conditioning Association. Lisa is also a clinical instructor for physical therapy doctoral student from American International College. Lisa is proud to have been a 10-year member of the Hadley Planning Board. Lisa resides in Hadley with her family and enjoys gardening, hiking, collecting antiques and staying fit.
Lisa has amassed experience in multiple settings including hospitals, and in home health. For 12 years, Lisa was the owner and director of Dakota Physical Therapy of Montville, New Jersey, an outpatient physical therapy practice. Lisa has since sold her practice to move with her family to what Lisa considers one of the most beautiful and peaceful places in the world, the Pioneer Valley.

- 14 Summers American Softball Association (DiFeo’s Blue Jays, Budweiser Belles, and Linden Majors)
- Pitched for Budweiser Belles ’85 & DiFeo’s Blue Jays ’89, ’90 Mid-Atlantic Regional Champions with National Tournament Bids ’85, 88, ’89, ’90, ’91, ’92, ’94
- 1991 stats include a 15-4 record with 141 IP, 53 hits, 152 K’s, 19 BB, and a 0.25 ERA.
- All-American honors while compiling 5-0 record in ’90 National Tournament leading Blue Jays to a 3rd place finish
- 1992 National Champs – Class A – First Team All-American honors while compiling a 6-0 record at ’92 National Tournament with a 0.38 ERA, leading the Blue Jays to 1st place at National Championship. Earned both MVP and Most Valuable Pitcher of the National Tournament
- Taught at pitching clinics and camps in the Northeast
